Abstract
Unio pictorum Mancus (Bivalvia) is actually tested as a fresh water bioremediator, in a morenic North Italian lake (Viverone Lake). In order to analyze the period of maximal activity of shell mineralization, glandular secretion and metal bioaccumulation, we studied Unio pictorum Mancu's cycle of life, using an histotopochemical approach.File in questo prodotto:
