Endocardiosis is a degenerative and dystrophic process affecting cardiac valves described in many mammalian species including man, dog, and pig, and characterized by the accumulation of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) in the extracellular matrix. In pig Endocardiosis we showed a significant increase of hyaluronan and an alteration in the sialic acid content consistent with an abnormal glycosylation pattern.

Abstract
Endocardiosis is a degenerative and dystrophic process affecting cardiac valves described in many mammalian species including man, dog, and pig, and characterized by the accumulation of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) in the extracellular matrix. In pig Endocardiosis we showed a significant increase of hyaluronan and an alteration in the sialic acid content consistent with an abnormal glycosylation pattern.File in questo prodotto:
