Abstract
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment includes Drift Tubes (DT) chambers to detect muons in the barrel region. The CMS DT detection system is briefly reviewed and the quality control procedures used to validate the chamber performance at the assembly sites are presented. Real tracks from cosmic rays are used to check all electrical connections, the global performance of the chambers and to check the wire position accuracy. The measurements with cosmic rays are compared with the results from test beam analyses.File in questo prodotto:
