– [Experiences of didactic fruition and exploitation of some Monferrato’s fossiliferous outcrops] – This paper deals with methods, aims and results of two different proposals of didactic field-trip offered to training teachers of Primary School and to students of High Secondary School. The results are obtained from the metareflexion elaborated at individual, group and collective level. They show that didactic field-trips are crucial to represent the complex space-time connections operating in the territory and to give the students an opportunity of relating the effects of time with the effects of dynamic and cyclical events. The didactic field-trip has a great formative value, it can be enriched by the emotional experience and it favours the integration of new knowledge. Through this experience students and teachers get conscious of palaeontological sites scientific value and of protection of and didactic exploitation needs.
