Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), a geminivirus causing a severe disease of tomato, is transmitted by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci, by digestive and salivary systems. To throw the role that systems might play in transmission, histochemical and immunocytochemical investigations were made on two groups of adult B. tabaci females, fed respectively on cucumber plants, immune to the virus, and on YLCV-infected tomato plants.

Abstract
Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), a geminivirus causing a severe disease of tomato, is transmitted by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci, by digestive and salivary systems. To throw the role that systems might play in transmission, histochemical and immunocytochemical investigations were made on two groups of adult B. tabaci females, fed respectively on cucumber plants, immune to the virus, and on YLCV-infected tomato plants.File in questo prodotto:
