Abstract
Lagrange is the most important Italian mathematicians of the 18th century whose learning was able to penetrate the main field of mathematical research, from infinitesimal calculus to geometry, from number theory to mechanics, from algebra to physics. This lecture presents the authors and the works that had an influence on Lagrange’s training in mathematics and physics during his youth in Turin and the context of the mathematical research in Italian Universities and religious colleges. Giambattista Beccaria, Giulio C. Fagnani and Leonhard Euler were his first masters and advisers.File in questo prodotto:
