The ICMI Archives were part of the IMU Archives kept in Helsinki in the Central Archives of Helsinki University (now in Berlin). They consist of 7 folders (14 A, B, C, D, E, F, G), each of which contains several files. There are three typologies of the materials conserved: letters, which are the greatest part of the archives; books; and documents, ordered chronologically. What follows is a brief description. A general list of the documents is given and a more detailed description for the period 1952-1954. They shed light upon lesser-known aspects of the history of ICMI.
