Dealing with the relationship between cooperation and geography, two perspectives can be considered. On the one hand geography is an instrument for constructing a critical knowledge on development aid, starting from the spatiality that the project/process of cooperation develops at the different scales of analysis. On the other hand, geography can be used in an instrumental way by the cooperation, because it is able to offer a knowledge which is fundamental for the project activities carried out at different stages of development. Starting from this double perspective, the paper aims at presenting the experience of DITER, member of CISAO, in developing not only geography of the cooperation but above all a geography for the cooperation in particular making particular reference at the research (PaRCo) about the projects of decentralized cooperation between protected areas of Piedmont and developing countries.

Abstract
Dealing with the relationship between cooperation and geography, two perspectives can be considered. On the one hand geography is an instrument for constructing a critical knowledge on development aid, starting from the spatiality that the project/process of cooperation develops at the different scales of analysis. On the other hand, geography can be used in an instrumental way by the cooperation, because it is able to offer a knowledge which is fundamental for the project activities carried out at different stages of development. Starting from this double perspective, the paper aims at presenting the experience of DITER, member of CISAO, in developing not only geography of the cooperation but above all a geography for the cooperation in particular making particular reference at the research (PaRCo) about the projects of decentralized cooperation between protected areas of Piedmont and developing countries.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
