In order to comply with the new EU Directives on sustainable use of pesticides and on requirements concerning new and used sprayers, and with the aim to get closer to the actual legislation already in force in several Northern European countries, ENAMA (Italian Board for Agricultural Mechanisation) promoted a specific working project. The objective was to harmonise on the national territory the activity of inspections of sprayers in use. An ad hoc working group defined the guidelines to support the test stations concerning test methodologies and test equipment to be used for sprayers inspections. Two specific documents (identified as ENAMA n° 13 and ENAMA n° 14) define how to verify periodically the work of the test stations and of the technicians in charge of making the sprayers inspections. All the workshops and technicians enabled to carry out the inspections of sprayers in use in Italy should now therefore be checked periodically by a supervisor, selected by the Regional Administration that manages the sprayers inspection activity, either concerning the quality of their work or the test equipment used during the inspections. An ENAMA certificate (document n° 14) can be obtained by the test stations, on a voluntary basis, if their activities comply with the requirements listed in ENAMA documents n° 1, 3, 4 and 8b and included in ISO/IEC 17020. This certificate guarantees the quality of sprayers inspections and the conformity of the test equipment used for the inspections.

Abstract
This certificate guarantees the quality of sprayers inspections and the conformity of the test equipment used for the inspections.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
