Direct search for dark matter particles is a good tool for probing supersymmetry, especially for models where the neutralino is the relic candidate. The extent of exploration achieved by current experimental sensitivities is discussed for various supersymmetric schemes, which differ among themselves in some underlying theoretical assumptions (SUGRA, nuSUGRA and effMSSM). The interesting result is that direct searches are actually probing supersymmetric configurations with neutralinos of cosmological relevance.

Abstract
Direct search for dark matter particles is a good tool for probing supersymmetry, especially for models where the neutralino is the relic candidate. The extent of exploration achieved by current experimental sensitivities is discussed for various supersymmetric schemes, which differ among themselves in some underlying theoretical assumptions (SUGRA, nuSUGRA and effMSSM). The interesting result is that direct searches are actually probing supersymmetric configurations with neutralinos of cosmological relevance.File in questo prodotto:
