Corrols (H3Cor) attract the attention of researchers not only as structural analogues of porphyrins (H2P) and Corrins, but also as promising catalysts, materials with nonlinear optical properties and agents for photodynamic therapy. One of the important criteria for their practical application is the stability of compounds in different environments. Therefore, an resistance to thermal destruction of meso-phenyl-substituted ligand H3(ms-Ph)3Cor has been studied by thermogravimetric method. This compound exhibits a tendency, in contrast to the H2P to stabilize metals in high oxidation states, as well as complexes with Mn (III), Co (III), Cu (III) and Zn (II).

Abstract
Corrols (H3Cor) attract the attention of researchers not only as structural analogues of porphyrins (H2P) and Corrins, but also as promising catalysts, materials with nonlinear optical properties and agents for photodynamic therapy. One of the important criteria for their practical application is the stability of compounds in different environments. Therefore, an resistance to thermal destruction of meso-phenyl-substituted ligand H3(ms-Ph)3Cor has been studied by thermogravimetric method. This compound exhibits a tendency, in contrast to the H2P to stabilize metals in high oxidation states, as well as complexes with Mn (III), Co (III), Cu (III) and Zn (II).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
