The paper present the results of a new product that allows to match the needs of energy recovery for the chestnut fiber waste resulting from the processing of tannin extraction with the optimization of the characteristics of the pellet obtained. The physic-mechanical analysis of the above chestnut pellet are compared with those of other tested according to the requirements of the product certification schemes more common in the sector.
