Cryptorchidism is the most frequent defect of the male urogenital tract in humans, correlated with long-term complications (infertility, testicular neoplasia and hormonal changes). Glycosamminoglycans are fundamental macromolecules of the exracellular matrix and they are involved in a wide range of physiological and pathological functions. The aim of this work is the biochemical analysis of glycosamminoglycans in normal and cryptorchid boar testes to highlight possible differences between normal and pathological tissue.

Abstract
Cryptorchidism is the most frequent defect of the male urogenital tract in humans, correlated with long-term complications (infertility, testicular neoplasia and hormonal changes). Glycosamminoglycans are fundamental macromolecules of the exracellular matrix and they are involved in a wide range of physiological and pathological functions. The aim of this work is the biochemical analysis of glycosamminoglycans in normal and cryptorchid boar testes to highlight possible differences between normal and pathological tissue.File in questo prodotto:
