Seamless communication is spreading in all areas of everyday life thanks to the greater interoperability of the consumer electronic devices. The opportunity richness that this scenario opens must be designed with the end users who will face both new opportunities but also new elements of complexity. This requires to take carfully into account their perspective in order to really help their daily lives through this new communication and media fruition platform for the home environment based on user meaningful service scenarios. The use of personas throughout the design phase of services has allowed us to take into account not only users actual behaviour, but also their needs and desiderata in order to translate them into solutions inproving their daily lives.

Abstract
Seamless communication is spreading in all areas of everyday life thanks to the greater interoperability of the consumer electronic devices. The opportunity richness that this scenario opens must be designed with the end users who will face both new opportunities but also new elements of complexity. This requires to take carfully into account their perspective in order to really help their daily lives through this new communication and media fruition platform for the home environment based on user meaningful service scenarios. The use of personas throughout the design phase of services has allowed us to take into account not only users actual behaviour, but also their needs and desiderata in order to translate them into solutions inproving their daily lives.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
