We studied vineyard biodiversity by surveying plant species (PR) and edaphic microarthropods richness (MR) (QBS-ar method) and evenness (ME). A total of 177 plant species and an average number of 33 species were recorded in the vineyards, only 19 of them were widespread. The number of microarthropods taxa was 21, and the total number of individuals for each plot 920 on average. PR was influenced by agricultural techniques whereas MR and ME were more related to soil density and porosity. Flora richness and composition of the sampled area were similar to other European winegrowing areas, whilst QBS-ar suggest an high ecological values of the soil.
