Educating critical thinking through the development of character skills. The educational practice of the Café-philo

Because of the pressure that today's society exerts on children and their families, an early type of training that affects the full personality of future generations is essential, and has to develop socio-emotional skills through the education to the character skills in primary school. In fact, they offer students the right tools to face any type of challenge and to modify and increase their way of thinking about reality by recognizing the moral aspects and truths in a more transparent, conscious and critical way. The café-philo will be proposed as a training practice of such skills that, by educating to dialogue and active listening, could be a valuable resource to learn to re-examine our own beliefs and refuse prejudices.
