In this paper we offer some new notes on the Italian criticism of Galdós’s works, based on the examination of the hitherto unknown article by Teodoro Serrao, «Romanzi e romanzieri spagnuoli», of 1873 (reproduced in Appendix). We also propose a bibliographical update of the Galdosian Italian criticism from 1879 until 1920.

Abstract
