In this study, we report a Michael addition reaction performed in micellar media using chalcones and acetophenones as starting materials, yielding both symmetric and asymmetric Michael adducts. The scope of asymmetric adduct formation was further broadened by employing a selection of chalcones synthesized via a micellar-based aldol reaction.
