The Anatomage Table is an advanced 3D visualization system that enhances forensic odontology by enabling precise, interactive examination of human anatomy on an 83-inch touchscreen. This study explores its use in forensic identification through the upload of DICOM datasets from human remains. Using virdentopsy examinations, dental and skeletal data can be extracted to build a detailed biological profile and create a portrait of the deceased. By defining anatomical cutting planes, forensic odontologists can generate accurate 2D radiographic images of dental arches, known as orthodentograms, comparable to panoramic X-rays. The system’s X-ray filter also allows for 3D volumetric skull renderings and radiographs similar to periapical images, crucial for age estimation and identification. When decomposition is limited, portrait-like images with color enhancement can aid public recognition. Overall, the Anatomage Table offers a pioneering, efficient method for post-mortem dental data analysis and remote forensic consultations, advancing forensic investigation accuracy and visualization.

Abstract
Overall, the Anatomage Table offers a pioneering, efficient method for post-mortem dental data analysis and remote forensic consultations, advancing forensic investigation accuracy and visualization.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
