Abstract

Preliminary greenhouse trials evaluated insect frass and exuviae from Hermetia illucens for the control of Fusarium wilt on lettuce. Exuviae significantly reduced disease severity at selected doses, while frass showed inconsistent effects. Results suggest a potential role of chitin-rich insect by-products in sustainable plant disease management.
