By analyzing (2712.4 +/- 14.3) x 10(6) psi(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decays chi(c0,1,2) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+) are observed for the first time with statistical significances greater than 10 sigma. The branching fractions of these decays are determined to be B(chi(c0) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+)) = (7.95 +/- 0.50 +/- 0.65) x 10(-5), B(chi(c1) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+)) = (2.62 +/- 0.08 +/- 0.19) x 10(-4), and B(chi(c2) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+)) = (1.72 +/- 0.07 +/- 0.15) x 10(-4), where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

Abstract

By analyzing (2712.4 +/- 14.3) x 10(6) psi(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decays chi(c0,1,2) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+) are observed for the first time with statistical significances greater than 10 sigma. The branching fractions of these decays are determined to be B(chi(c0) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+)) = (7.95 +/- 0.50 +/- 0.65) x 10(-5), B(chi(c1) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+)) = (2.62 +/- 0.08 +/- 0.19) x 10(-4), and B(chi(c2) -> 3K(S)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+)) = (1.72 +/- 0.07 +/- 0.15) x 10(-4), where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.
