Infectious diseases induce behavioral changes in ecosystems. In order to model such situations, a generalization of the Leslie-Gower model is proposed to incorporate the influence of a transmissible disease. We analyze the system to investigate its dynamics for possible useful applications in the ecosystem control.

Abstract
