Census of the Apoidea in Piedmontese environment with different agricultural exploitation levels. The Apoidea were censused in two different areas of Piedmont (Italy) characterised by different levels of agricultural exploitation. In both areas, most of the collected specimens belonged to the families Andrenidae, Halictidae, Megachilidae and Apidae. When compared to the ecosystem, the agroecosystem showed lower biodiversity (22 genera instead of 25), a clear increase of Lasioglossum, and a lower incidence of Megachilidae and Apidae.
