Apple culture in Piedmont is spread in different pedoclimatic conditions in plain, hill and mountainous areas. To evaluate the phenological, productive and qualitative traits of Golden delicious apples grown in different environments, destructive and sensorial analysis were done in postharvest. The fruit, stored both in normal atmosphere (N.A.) (3-3,5 °C; 95% R.H.) and controlled atmosphere (C.A.) (1–1,5 °C; 3% CO2; 2% O2) , was analyzed after different storage periods from November to April. The results emphasise the influence of the environment on fruit quality after storage.
