Territorial Integrated Quality Management System (TIQMS) – is the latest evolution of the Environmental-Landscape Management System (ELMS) which was invented, designed and implemented in the Unione di Comuni Colline di Langa e del Barolo – Union of the Municipalities of Langa and Barolo Hills, from 2005 to 2009, to give weight and tangibility to the European Landscape Convention (ELC), by introducing a managerial tool based on concepts propounded by the Convention. TIQMS – has been recently developed for the same organization, as a support tool for the Public Administrations who are aiming to the welfare of population (whose meaning is broader than environmental and landscape quality), and offers a methodological proposal for the integration of Quality, Environment, Landscape, Occupational Health and Safety and Social themes.
