The relationship between the agronomic parameters of grapevine and the anthocyanin composition of Vitis vinifera L. cv. Tempranillo was assessed. Physical and mechanical properties of grapes and their skins were also determined and correlated to the chemical composition. Results obtained shows good correlation between skin anthocyanin composition and some agronomic parameters measured such as bunch weight or leaf area, as well as between the texture properties of grape skins and their chemical composition.

Abstract

The relationship between the agronomic parameters of grapevine and the anthocyanin composition of Vitis vinifera L. cv. Tempranillo was assessed. Physical and mechanical properties of grapes and their skins were also determined and correlated to the chemical composition. Results obtained shows good correlation between skin anthocyanin composition and some agronomic parameters measured such as bunch weight or leaf area, as well as between the texture properties of grape skins and their chemical composition.
